Old Rivarossi E626 and B&O Locomotive spare parts

Please can you advise if there is an Italian collectors club dealing with the very old Rivarossi models ie E626 and early B&O Saddle Tank (both with the same truck type motors -spur gear drives) I have a few such models and require spares if possible. I watch the eBay for spares. There must be real collectors in Italy who deal with such items. I would be very pleased to find an address and name. I have posted 3 Videos on the Youtube if anyone is interested and would wish to comment showing some of my Locomotives under the heading "Rivarossi E626 Double Headed with Goods. Similar for the Baltimore and Ohio. What sort of life is expected from the old motors as I am careful to minimise running times. although they are still running since 1948 !!

Per favore può si consigliare se c'è un club di collezionisti italiani occupano molto vecchie Rivarossi modelli ie E626 e precoce B & O Saddle Tank (entrambi con lo stesso tipo motori - unità sperone attrezzi di camion) ho qualche tali modelli e richiedono ricambi se possibile. Guarda la eBay per pezzi di ricambio. Deve esserci veri collezionisti in Italia che si occupano di tali elementi. Sarebbe molto lieto di trovare un indirizzo e nome. Io ho postato 3 video su YouTube il se nessuno è interessato e vorrei commentare che mostra alcune delle mie locomotive sotto l'intestazione "Rivarossi E626 Headed Double con beni. Simili di Baltimora e Ohio. Che tipo di vita è previsto dei vecchi motori come sono attento a ridurre al minimo tempi di esecuzione. anche se sono ancora in esecuzione dal 1948!!

Hello Howard,
The procedure to attach photographs is rather simple. When you are writing a message you will find in the bottom of the screen a tab labelled "Browse". Use this tab to search the file you want to attach and then select the file by clicking on "Aggiungi file (Add file)". A temporary window will open automatically showing the progress in uploading the file; in case your upload should fail and you see, on top of the screen, a red message saying "La dimensione........256 kB" this means that your file is too big, the limit is 256 kB. If the upload is succesfull at the bottom of your message you will see the name of the file and beside it a tab "Inserisci in linea con il testo (Insert in line with the text)", if you click on this tab your photo will be put in your message exactly where the cursor of your mouse is located at the moment.
Another limitation is that you can attach a maximum of three images, so, in case you have more, you must split your message into two separate postings.

Ha bisogno del carrello motore che vedete in foto per la sua E 626 e delle due bielle di collegamento tra gli assi per la B&O. Sempre per la B&O cerca gli avvolgimenti per il motore perchè quello attuale ha dei problemi.
Consiglio di dare un'occhiata ai suoi filmati su Youtube.

I am very disappointed that know one has responded to my request regarding spares for my old rivarossi locomotives not even to say that the parts are difficult to find. It appears that that some of the members just want to talk about insignificant issues rather than the "Old" Rivarossi Locomotives beteen 1946 to 1952.

I have tried to investigate the Hornby Museum matters for the benifit of the club, to the best of my ability and have been told that it is an arrogant stance on Hornbys behalf that information is not still forthcomimg. It is not Hornbys fault that the Rivarossi factory in Como has been dismantled, at least the old models have now been peserved by Hornby and we know where they are. I agree it would have been best if the Museum was still located in Italy but possibly know one was interested in rasing the capital at the time to provide a venu!

And excuse me if I dont translate the next text in inglish: it is difficult for me and it is for the italian "weeping" people.

Mi spiace che nessuno sia in grado di aiutare l'amico Howard.

E concordo sul fatto che sia assolutamente preferibile che i pezzi del museo RR siano immagazzinati a Margate piuttosto che dispersi tra i troppi trafficoni italiani.
Se non ci fosse stata Hornby la produzione Rivarossi non sarebbe ripresa e sicuramente stampi, attrezzature e museo sarebbero stati veduti e dispersi.
Non dimentichiamo che nel 2004 Hornby offerse 8 milioni di euro, l'unica cordata italiana ne offrì giusto la metà!

Quindi, come ho sempre sostenuto, moooooolto meglio in scatola in Inghiletrra che nelle bacheche dei tanti trafficoni italiani.

E se restano in scatola non è perchè alla Hornby sono cattivi o arroganti, ma è che allestire un museo costa decine/centinaia di migliaia di euro e in questo settore rende pochissimo (quanti visitatori al giorno andavano al museo RR quando era a Como? Se erano venti alla settimana erano tanti).
Che questo per loro non sia una priorità lo capisco benissimo e lo accetto.

Il museo RR in Inghilterra non è uno scippo o un furto, non è la Gioconda rubata da Napoleone (quelli che leggono queste righe sanno meglio di me che fu portata in francia dall'autore stesso, ma ormai è un pezzo forte delle tante lamentele italiche), ma è parte dei cespiti di una ditta acquistata da un'altra.

Perchè noi italiani siamo solo capaci di pretendere e lamentarci!!!!! Se siamo così bravi troviamo un ente che offra lo spazio e i soldi necessari per impiantare il museo RR in Italia, magari la Hornby accetta di dare i pezzi in comodato. Ma dubito fortemente che esista al mondo qualucuno che possa scucire così tanti soldi per la gloria.

Quindi evitiamo di piangere su quanto sarebbe bello se fosse in Italia, magari nella nostra città, o quanto sono malvagli gli inglesi che ci impediscono di fruire di questo nostro tesoro nazionale.

Ripeto, se fosse rimasto in Italia, stante le condizioni del mercaro del modellismo e l'inesauribile furberia degli italiani, ad oggi del museo resterebbero solamente gli scatoloni. Meglio, molto meglio nelle scatole di Margate!!!!
