una questione di un amico in scandinavia. Il soffietto a gomma è colorato verde e bianco. Originale?







If my italian is not perfect, here again in english. I have some pictures of a friend in Scandinavia. The rubber diaphragm in between the two halves of the locomotive body is painted in green and white. Is it original or after-market repaint?

As far as I can tell,it should be black.

It's a non-original diaphragm. It looks like foam instead of solid rubber, and it should be painted in black.

I think that, if your friend wishes to change the diaphragm into a more correct one, he can find a high quality copy in the "Links" section of the Rivarossi Memory website at http://www.rivarestore.com. The price should be € 18 per piece.
