1 2002/R Vintage Rivarossi on American eBay

This very old Rivarossi Model was sold recently on the American Rivarossi eBay for 1375 dollars note original spur gear motor with side brushes as E626 and early B & O models

This must have been one of the first models produced in Como. See page 6 of of RR 1950 Catalogue

I also was following this bid, of course only as a matter of curiosity since, as it happened, this range of prices is definitely out of my reach. Anyway I'm pleased to see that Rivarossi models are beginning to obtain evaluations comparable to other "historical" brands.
What surprises me is that such a rare model has appeared in the USA.

Stavo seguendo anch'io quest'asta, naturalmente solo per curiosità dato che, come è successo, questa gamma di prezzi è senz'altro fuori della mia portata. Comunque sono lieto di vedere che i modelli Rivarossi stanno cominciando ad ottenere valutazioni comparabili con alti marchi "storici".
Ciò che mi sorprende è che un modello così raro sia apparso negli USA.
