Rivarossi English Scot Class

Gentlemen,

Please see my Scot Class Locomotives. The engineering is quite unique as the motor is inside the tender with a drive shaft through into the main body of the locomotive then via a worm gear to the main driving wheels.

I have two of the Royal Scot and one of Hector. The Hector Locomotive is very rare and I was so pleased to purchase this model. It was sold as a non-runner however, after examination I found that the drive shaft had become dislodged and luckily unbroken. After some loving care and a little oil and grease in the right place she runs perfectly well.

I thought I would raise this item for the Forum as these two models were the only ones Rivarossi made for the English Market. I have some old Railway Modeller Magazines February/March 1979 where the Royal Scot Locomotive was given a fantastic review for fine detail etc. There was nothing to match this beautiful model at the time. The reviewer is quoted in saying "It was the finest detailed model he had ever seen"

Si prega di vedere il mio Locomotive Class Scot. L'ingegneria è abbastanza unico come il motore si trova all'interno della gara con un albero di trasmissione attraverso nel corpo principale della locomotiva poi tramite una vite senza fine per le ruote motrici principali.

Ho due della Scott Reale e uno di Hector. La Locomotiva Hector è molto rara ed ero così contento per l'acquisto di questo modello. E 'stato venduto come un non-runner però, dopo l'esame ho scoperto che l'albero motore era diventato sloggiato e per fortuna ininterrotta. Dopo di cure amorevoli e un po 'di olio e grasso al posto giusto corre ora perfettamente bene.

Ho pensato di raccogliere il prodotto in quanto questi due modelli sono stati gli unici Rivarossi fatto per il mercato inglese. Ho qualche vecchia ferrovia Modeller Riviste febbraio / marzo 1979 in cui è stato dato questo Locomotive una recensione fantastica per dettagli ecc Non c'era nulla che possa uguagliare questi bellissime modelle del momento. Il recensore è citato nel dire "E 'stata la più bella modello dettagliato che avesse mai visto"
